I love spring time. Not because the flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. Not even close, I love spring because its time to go kayaking down the broad river and because the farmers market in my town opens its door to supply the area with fresh produce, breads, dairy, and just about anything else you can imagine. The Athens Farmers Market opens on the first Saturday in April, and I will be there. There are farmers markets all over the country that can supply your meals with healthy stuff all year.
